Got kicked out of Montezuma after I've entered it. What gives?

If your game requires 200 fireflies to unlock Montezuma, you will be given 48 hours in Montezuma. Once your 48 hours have expired, you will need to collect more fireflies by sending the Bug Catcher ship on voyages to gain access to Montezuma again.
