The 10 free rubies are what contributed to the 60, where without the free 10 it would be 50 rubies, or a value of 10 rubies for $0.99 (as is for a pinch of rubies)

Take for example: "1 Pouch of Rubies; 60 Rubies, get 10 free! for $4.99." You receive 60 instead of 50 for $4.99.
